Vinegar isn’t gasoline

Regarding the price of gasoline compared to vinegar.

I don't use 60 litres of vinegar each week, but if I did, I would complain about that cost, too. I do use 60 litres of gasoline, so let’s make reasonable comparisons. Gas is a necessity, not a luxury.

Regarding pay parking along the waterfront, let’s allow Barrie residents to park there free, as it was our tax dollars that went to re-vitalize the area and we should not have to pay again to enjoy it.

Include a sticker in our tax bill that we can affix to our vehicle windshield indicating we are Barrie residents.

Lastly, we now have the GO train which was badly needed and it is getting great use. People, trains blow whistles for level crossings. This has been going on for as long as I can remember.

The first bad accident when someone is killed because the train didn’t blow the whistle could leave the town open for lawsuits totalling into the millions of dollars. We don’t need to spend $10,000 for a study.

Get over it, use earplugs or move.
