I am wondering why our local MP, Patrick Brown, is being silent on the proposed sale of MDA.

MDA is the provider of Canada's advanced RadarSat 2 satellite that maps and monitors Canada's north and was developed with the help of over 400 million tax dollars.

The loss of this technology to the American company will leave a huge hole in our abilities to project our sovereignty over territory that is coming under increasing dispute.  

When asked whether he supports this sale, all Mr. Brown will respond with is an automated e-mail that he received my letter. Constituents deserve better.
