The Georgian College International Charity Fashion Extravaganza hits the runway Thursday.

The fashion-show features casual and formal clothing, and clothing styles from around the world modeled by Georgian students.

Some of the traditional clothing featured includes costumes from China, India, Africa, Morocco, South America and Canada.

The event aims to bring international and Canadian students together to raise money for the Children’s Aid Society Simcoe County.

The show is being run and organized by students from Georgian’s International Centre and the Students’ Administrative Council (SAC).

The Georgian College International Charity Fashion Extravaganza will take place March 6 at 7 p.m. at the Gryphon Theatre.

Tickets for the event are $3 for students and $5 for community members and staff.

They are available at the SAC office in Georgian College and will be available at the door of the event.

For more information call the Georgian International Centre at 728-1968, ext. 1218.
