Man rescued on Lake Simcoe

A 29-year-old man was rescued about two kilometres from Big Bay Point Friday after spending two hours in Lake Simcoe.

York Region Police and the Coast Guard assisted Barrie Police in the search for the man after he fell off a Sea-Doo. The man, who was wearing a life-jacket, was spotted by a helicopter.

Police said he was suffering from hypothermia and was taken to RVH for treatment.
