The Simcoe County Museum is bringing history to life with Summer Sundays.
Each week the special afternoons feature costumed interpreters and hands-on demonstrations, included in the price of admission.
Enjoy fresh baked goods from the pioneer bread oven on Bread Oven Sunday Aug. 3. Catch vintage construction equipment in action at County Under Construction July 13 and Aug. 10.
An ice cream social featuring hand churned freshly made ice cream will be held July 20 and Aug. 17.
Hearth and Home, which allows visitors to explore daily pioneer life takes place July 27 and Aug. 24.
Museum admission is $4 for adults, $3.50 for seniors and students, and $2.50 for children.
Preschoolers are free.
Summer Sundays run between 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. all summer long.
