More than 30 competitive barbecuing teams from across North America will take over Barrie’s waterfront this weekend.
The Barrie Brews and BBQ Festival featuring the Canadian Open Barbecue Championship will run between July 4 and 6. The festival features competitive and amateur barbecue teams looking to capture more than $30,000 in prizes.
Everyone is welcome to come out and see how the professionals do it, get some free samples, and to take in all the tastes and smells.
The Robert Simpson Brewery and the Great Lakes Brewery will be onsite offering a selection of lagers, ales and seasonal beers.
