This year, Elite Dance Force Inc. went out with a bang. 

The team took home first overall at the Kick It Up Dance Competition in Ajax on the weekend.  

The EDF team took home 13 trophies, which included top Small Fry Novice, Austyn Madeley, top Junior and Intermediate overall soloists in Jamie Reisch and Kelly Hobbs, as well as third overall Senior soloist Charlie Nielson.  

Teachers and choreographers Megan English-Awrey and Natalie vandenHeuvel also took home a choreography award for their work on the team lyrical number I’ll Stand By You.  With dozens of overall awards and special awards this season, Elite is very proud of its achievements.  

EDF has completed its first year in its new location at 2 Marsellus Drive Unit #5, with over 2,500 square feet of studio space, sprung floors and viewing windows.  

The EDF team will be having free competitive auditions Saturday, June 14 and Saturday, June 21 at the studio.
