Members of Ontario Provincial Police Child Sexual Exploitation Section (Project “P”), in conjunction with Barrie Police officers have charged a 68-year-old Barrie man following a month-long Child Pornography investigation.

On Tuesday, police executed a search warrant on a residence and seized one desktop computer, a digital camera and compact discs, containing images of child sexual abuse. Officers also uncovered a concealed drug grow in the residence. A small amount of suspected cannabis marijuana was seized.

The suspect had a bail hearing Wednesday in Barrie court, charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, one count of making child porn available and drug-related charges. He will return to court June 9, his case under a publication ban.
