Three men charged in a violent home invasion on the weekend were in court Monday.
Kevin Ricketts and Ezekiel Tash, both 28, and Floyd Codner, 29, faces a variety of counts, including armed robbery, forcible confinement, uttering death threats and possession of stolen property. All three are from the Toronto area.
Barrie Police say three men followed a couple to their Craig Crescent home in the Livingstone and Anne Street area in the early hours of Saturday morning, confronted them in their garage with a handgun, bound them with duct tape, and made off with cash and some personal items.
The three made their escape down Highway 400, where a passing tow truck driver alerted police to their whereabouts. They were pulled over and arrested near Innisfil Beach Road.
Ricketts was released on bail, and ordered to stay away from Barrie except for court appearances. He will return to court on May 26. Tash waived his bail and Codner will be back in court on Thursday.
