Hospice Simcoe has a busy few months ahead with a number of events taking place in Barrie.

The Hostas for Hospice event takes place May 8, 9 and 10 in the parking lot of the Kozlov Centre on Bayfield Street.

Hospice volunteers will be taking part in a barbecue as well as selling hostas and geranium hanging baskets just in time for Mother’s Day.

The Magical Mediterranean Evening will take place at 7 p.m. May 27 at Alfanoos Restaurant on Bayfield Street.

This event features European cuisine, a silent auction and entertainment from Jazz Mandhu and Cahara’s Belly Dancers. Tickets are $25 per person, $45 per couple.

The Moonlight Magical Cruise sets sail July 24 at 7 p.m. on the Serendipity Princess.

The event includes appetizers, dancing and a silent auction.  Tickets are $35 per person.

Hospice Simcoe is also holding a wedding gown draw with tickets available at Impulse Clothing, and are still looking for people to join its Dragonboat race team.
