Film festival screening
The Screen 1 Film Series presents Bright Star for its December screening. Bright Star is the story of a secret love affair between English poet John Keats and the girl next-door, Fanny Brawne. The illness of Keats’ younger brother brings them together, and he agrees to teach her poetry. When their parents realize the depth of their relationship, they are unstoppable. Only Keats’ illness proved insurmountable. Show times are 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. at the Bayfield 7 Cinemas. Tickets are $9 for adults and $7 for seniors and students.
